SSDH – Sáu mươi trường đại học (University) và trường cao đẳng tư thục (Private College) đã bị cấm nhận thêm sinh viên quốc tế vì theo bộ Nội vụ, họ ‘gây ra nguy cơ xấu cho việc kiểm soát nhập cư’ và ‘không đảm bảo được trách nhiệm của mình với việc tuyển sinh sinh viên quốc tế’.
Có 3 trường đại học bị nêu tên trong đợt cấm lần này, gồm: trường Glyndwr University ở Wales không được tuyển thêm sinh viên quốc tế (cấm visa Tier 4), hai trường University of West London và University of Bedfordshire sẽ không được cấp CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies), và không được gia hạn cho những sinh viên quốc tế đang theo học.
